discovering the Historic Chocolate Factory

A touch of magic. This is our factory, where original machines with over 100 years of valuable service to their credit, still work every day to prepare our chocolate.
A guided tour of the factory is an opportunity to get a close-up view of our work and learn a few secrets about traditional chocolate making: from cacao bean to chocolate bar, in a one-hour visit designed for adults and children. Adults can enjoy a tasting session and learn the tricks of sampling chocolate. Children learn how chocolate is made, with a pestle and mortar.

• Adult Formula. Having visited the factory, the focus is on tasting: several types of chocolate are sampled in an exploration of origins and flavours. Guided by our Master Chocolate maker, participants complete the tasting notes for the different chocolates.

• Children’s Formula. After visiting the factory, children (aged between 5 and 14) will experience the production of chocolate from bean to bar, grinding cacao beans in a mortar and taking their raw chocolate home.
